Open Front Quilt Jackets for Women

No buttons, no zip, no closure at all. An open front quilt jacket is the easiest layer in a wardrobe — throw it over a tee in spring or a sweater in autumn and it works either way. Each one is hand-stitched by women artisans in India from upcycled vintage kantha saris, layered and quilted using a centuries-old running stitch and finished with rows of visible hand embroidery.

Because we work with the reclaimed cloth we are given, every patchwork jacket here is the only one of its kind. The colors, the piecing, and the soft wear in the original saris never repeat, so when a quilt jacket sells there is not another like it.
