Whether you call it a quilted chore coat or a chore jacket, the silhouette is the same, and each one is hand-stitched by women artisans in India from 100% organic cotton or upcycled vintage kantha saris.

Choose our crosshatch organic cotton style, restocked in a rotating palette throughout the year, or explore our one-of-a-kind kantha chore jackets in rust, charcoal, and navy. Each kantha piece is made from reclaimed cotton saris layered and quilted using a centuries-old running stitch, with rows of visible hand embroidery running across the whole garment. Because the patchwork is dictated by the saris themselves, no two chore jackets are ever alike.
