Chaar = Four
Today was a peaceful day, the women came to the workspace ready to go. For today and tomorrow the women were asked to use color values to collage and sew a 12”x12” panel based on a photograph of food. The photographs were of typical Indian ingredients present in many traditional dishes. Though the ingredients were very familiar to the women, interpreting their shape and color value was not. After giving a bit of direction, they picked up the concept and began to understand the connection with our previous lessons.
