A Louisville native with a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from the University of Kentucky, Colleen earned her Master of Landscape Architecture degree from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD). In 2013, she was named one of Public Interest Design's Top Global 100 designers.

She is dedicated to correcting wrongs, one at a time.
Archana Paras: Vatsalya / Anchal Project Director
Like many of Anchal's artisans, Archana comes from a difficult background, but was determined to create a better life for herself and her son. She was educated by Vatsalya, one of Anchal's partners, and worked tirelessly to reach her current position as the project director. It is most likely this work ethic that earned her the respect of all of the artisans although she is the same age or younger than many of them. Archana also has a warming, motherly sweetness that allows her to connect to all of the artisans and successfully serve as a liaison between them and Vatsalya and Anchal. Archana not only represents the artisans, she runs the day-to-day operations, manages the products, the budget and the purchasing of materials.
