The 2015 Summer interns have officially invaded the Anchal office and we couldn't be happier! Since these women will be an integral part of our team for the next three months we ask that you join us in welcoming Hannah Scheller, Lillie Kmetz and Sarah Schank. Each intern will have a unique focus, ranging from digital design, social media marketing and the dyeScape project. Not only will their skills as bright young women be a great asset to Anchal, their positive energy, innovative thinking and passion will contribute to great change in the lives of Anchal artisans.
Meet the interns:
Hannah Schiller recently graduated from Western Kentucky University, where she studied Advertising and Graphic Design. She spends the majority of her free time focused on her two favorite things: fonts and food. She is excited to be back in Louisville, her hometown, and to be working with a company that is doing good in the world.
Lillie Kmetz is a junior studying marketing, management and entrepreneurship at the University of Louisville. She is passionate about the empowerment of women all over the world and looks forward to contributing her skills and gaining new ones through the internship with Anchal. Lillie previously interned with Norton Healthcare and will intern for jump! digital marketing company in the fall. When not interning, Lillie is a sales associate for a local boutique and enjoys the outdoors and practicing yoga.
Sarah Schank is a junior studying at the University of South Carolina and is in the Darla Moore School of Business. As a Louisville native, Sarah looks forward to being in her hometown for the summer, and interning with a nonprofit that focuses on ending the exploitation of women around the world and in our Louisville community. She plans to use the skills and knowledge she has gained through her high school’s IB art program and the research she has done on sex trafficking for college and high school projects throughout her role as the dyeScape intern. Sarah is excited to experience how Anchal makes a difference in the world and contributes to the vision of empowering women.
We look forward to sharing the experiences and accomplishments of these women with you throughout the Summer!
