Inadequate access to education is the primary reason women are trapped in a vicious cycle of poverty and exploitation. In addition to providing employment opportunities, Anchal offers artisans educational workshops in creative expression, basic math, financial literacy, women’s rights, leadership and stress management that give the tools needed to gain financial empowerment and independence.

Anchal is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. All donations are tax-deductible. We are grateful for gifts of all shapes and sizes!

When you purchase an Anchal product, you directly support the women who made it. Each artisan receives a living wage verified by the Fair Trade Federation and additional benefits like skills training, educational workshops, health services, gifts, and more. This comprehensive approach fosters confidence, independence, and creativity, enabling financial empowerment for the 180 artisans and 24 Project Assistants.
Moreover, our eco-friendly designs are crafted using organic cotton, recycled materials, and non-toxic dyes. It is an eco-friendly and responsible choice that reduces harmful chemical use, conserves water, minimizes pollution, decreases waste, and lowers greenhouse gas emissions.

Holiday Shipping Deadlines
To ensure your gifts arrive on time, please place orders by the following dates:
- Standard Shipping: December 15, 2025 by midnight EST
- Express Shipping: December 18, 2025 by midnight EST
- Local Pick-Up: December 21, 2025 by midnight EST
All orders will ship within 1-3 business days from our studio in Louisville, KY. Express orders are expedited and shipped within 1 business day.
Economy orders, shipped via UPS Ground or USPS Ground Advantage, typically arrive in 1-5 business days based on destination. Express orders are sent via UPS 2nd Day Air, which delivers within 2 business days after shipping.
Domestic economy shipping is free on orders over $275.
To make your holiday shopping stress-free, all items purchased between November 20, 2025 – December 18, 2025 are eligible for an extended return and exchange window through January 5, 2026. Exchanges and returns for store credit are free. Returns for refund are subject to a $10 flat rate return shipping fee if approved.
All international orders and items marked as final sale are not eligible for exchanges or refunds.
